Easter Egg Chocolate Gloop
No messy Easter activity would be complete without CHOCOLATE. We created chocolate gloop by mixing Cocoa Powder (or you can use Hot Chocolate) with a little cornflour and water to create an ooey, gooey texture. We added a few chocolate eggs to really get your Easter chocolate fix. Gloop is a great texture to explore with little hands and you can scrape, pour and squelch.
Pom Pom Sorting
Not all messy play activities are a nightmare to clean and tidy up. We love the simplicity of this pom pom sorting activity. Simply grab some plastic tweezers (or scoops, spoons or pots) and get sorting!
Spaghetti Nests
We used piles of coloured spaghetti to create these really cool Easter birds nests. You can add some plastic (or chocolate) eggs to really make our nests look like the real-deal. The great thing is your nests are taste safe and can easily be adapted with gluten free spaghetti if you have any wheat allergies.
Jelly Eggs
We love the simplicity of using the endless piles of plastic eggs we end up with at Easter to create some Jelly Egg bowls. Be sure to check if your eggs have any holes in before filling with jelly.
Chocolate Cloud Dough Nest
Our little chicks are having a great time exploring our yummy chocolate cloud dough. You can easily adapt our Cloud Dough recipe by adding chocolate powder or cocoa powder to give it an Easter twist.
