About
Hi, I’m Lindsey 
I’m a mum of two boys – Fynnlay (11) and Freddy (3) who love to spend their days covered from head to toe in something messy – be-it mud, paint, food(!) or something slimey – to me, that’s a sign of a good day! I love to be outside, enjoy swimming and listening to music, and my favourite colour is Orange. We have lots of pet rocks around the house and the world’s largest feather collection, and still growing!
I have been a Primary School Teacher including a Forest School Preschool Leader for the past 20 years and understand the importance of sensory play as fundamental to healthy Early Childhood Development. I am passionate about child-led play and value children’s intrinsic desires to explore their world with their own hands, feet and any other way they can!
I can’t wait to ‘wave the flag’ for the power of Messy play through Mess Around South Yorkshire and provide opportunities for you and your little (and big) special people to make lasting, fun and happy memories together.
