Our parties and events, run by our wonderful, dedicated franchise leaders throughout the UK, are multi-sensory, larger-than-life, messy play experiences for under 5’s and older siblings.
What do we do at Mess Around?
We laugh in the face of monotonous boring sessions at Mess Around!
We are all about providing children exciting opportunities to get messy and explore fun new sensory activities. They don’t stay little for long, so make the most of family fun by joining us at a Mess Around event near you.
With lots of activities to explore including our famous painting wall, the little ones can squelch, pour, mix and get messy to their hearts content.
Our parties are run throughout the UK by our wonderful, dedicated franchise leaders, bringing you and your children larger-than-life unique messy fun.
Who’s invited to come along and play?
Mess Around is ideal for children over 6 months (or sitting unaided), but older siblings up to the age of 10 can also participate in the Big Kids Create & Make Corner, where we have arts, crafts or junk modelling available to keep them busy.
Please note that we play music at all our events, so be prepared to dance!
About the Owner
Hello! my name is Rachelle Hutt and I am proud to be the new Owner and Director of Mess Around Ltd. Mess Around was founded by Kristine Monaghan in 2012 and she grew it into the amazing business it is today.
I started my Mess Around Journey in April 2019, making the leap from Primary School Deputy Head to become the owner of Mess Around West Suffolk, then expanding to own Mess Around East Cambridge in 2021.
Having been an early years/KS1 educator for over 20 years I am keenly aware of the incredible benefits of messy play. The concept of Mess Around: of a safe, relaxed environment that children and families can come together to play and create a mess without the stress or worry of tidying up grabbed me immediately. I went to join in a session and was overjoyed to see that the children are free to mix, splat, poke, squeeze at their own pace. It was clear that Mess Around not only develops those all-important physical skills, but it also fosters social, language and emotional development. I was hooked!
I was excited when Krissy offered me the chance to take over the reins, it was a no-brainer I love what Mess Around stands for, the values and the brand are spot on and fall in line with my own beliefs, and so I took over the reins on the 1st June 2021.
I am looking forward to continuing to grow and develop Mess Around. I can’t wait to welcome our new Franchisees on board and share this special opportunity.
